This isn’t actually like. A ‘reboot’ per say. The correct word would be...incarnation, I guess?
Similar to how MLP, Transformers, etc have several incarnations and continuities, this is more like that, so expect this to be wildly different compared to the original Underverse in any aspect of it.
On that note, also expect things like original characters, drastically different designs if a character has a different one, different personalities, characters working differently, characters having relatives they didn’t have before, different powers, etc etc you get the point.
If you’re wondering why I’m making this- I just got inspiration looking at all the official material Underverse has.
The X Event Mod is also the only reason GF and BF are here.
Should note that the first few chapters aren’t gonna be THAT serious or anything, and I’m also awkward with 1st Chapters (I think so anyways).

Cross is taken from nowhere to a fine house, where he is married. He is married to a man who gives him a wing of the house and nothing to do, but sew. Some of Cross thoughts seem to disappear whenever he tries to talk to his husband, and his husband doesn't like to hear him talk. At night, he sees two boy-wives sitting together, trying to talk with him.
And Cross can't stay in these conditions forever.

No one understands Chara like Cross does, and no one pisses him off more. It's hard for Chara to look at Cross and see the Sans of their first few timelines, given the years that have passed. It's hard to even see Frisk's cherished childhood friend now.
The aborted X-Event had changed Cross, and there's no trace left of Sans. Gone is Frisk's best friend, and in his place is Cross. If Chara hadn't been present for the course of events that had forced Cross into becoming who he is today, he'd probably be forgiven for thinking that Cross wasn't from XTale at all.
