Summary
The world beyond the Hermits' Isles is a dangerous place. Other than thousands of miles of wilderness and the monstrous Mobs of Grimm that lurk in its shadows, nothing exists beyond the safe haven of player-kind's last bastions of civilization. Huntsmen and Huntresses train to fight against the threats of the Outside world and protect the Isles -- and to Stress, knowing these two fundamental truths of the server would have been enough to keep her satisfied for a lifetime.
Winter, however, brings a change no amount of training could ever prepare her for. And what Stress discovers may place everything -- and everyone -- she loves on the line.

Summary
Mumbo is confused, tired, has no idea what he is doing half of the time, and managed to get into the future to a world called ‘Hermitcraft’. Hermitcraft seems like a nice place, everyone is kind to him, and apart from the occasional new mobs, he seems to be getting used to this world quite nicely. He can’t shake the feeling that something rather odd is happening under his nose, though.

There was something wrong with the Nether.
Welsknight was the first to notice it. He was the first to attempt to travel through his portal, just like usual, before something stopped him in his tracks. The floor around the portal was black, dense at first and thinning out toward the rest of his base, in a manner he knew he hadn’t created himself. There were ominous black particles in the air, floating up from the new blocks and outward from the portal, which in itself gave him a vibe he didn’t like at all.
It felt like the portal was watching him.---
In which something seems to have happened to the Nether - it's spreading, and everything it touches seems to blacken into some sort of corrupted state, and Xisuma doesn't know what to do about it.
Grian, however, seems to know exactly what's happening, and he's terrified.Series

Summary
When Xisuma first invited a new Hermit to join them, though he wouldn't have said it out loud, he expected their newest addition to be quiet and shy. He'd expected him to just stick to himself, build nice things, and have to be brought out of his shell by the others.
What he did not expect was the absolute force of chaos known as Grian, or the fact his community was about to be covered in chickens, or the fact Mumbo was going to end up without a mustache, or the plethora of other things Grian was responsible for.
Naturally, when Grian has been quiet for too long and nothing's been on fire or blown up in several hours, suspicion drives Xisuma to go check up on their chaotic new member. It's probably good he did, too, since apparently Grian is also incapable of self care.

Dreams of another dimension where this world's Watcher tortured the Hermits for fun seemed just that, dreams. Unusual and disturbing dreams, yes, but everyone in that world died in the end in a new dimension that Grian had never heard of, himself included. So it couldn't be real. That would be insane.
But when familiar situations that he could swear he had already seen occur in his nightmares begin to happen he's suddenly unsure of how certain he was that the dreams really are just dreams. Because if the dreams are happening, then all of his friends will soon be gone - and so will he. Armed with vague recollections and a faint thought that he's only getting one chance at this, Grian attempts to stop the future he knows about. -
