It’s not like Ariel even notices; he has so much money that a couple thousand quid going missing here and there is but a drop going missing from the ocean. As long as Chris remains diligent with clearing the notifications of his purchases from Ariel’s phone, Ariel will never know.
Because Chris likes nice things; he likes them a lot. He got used to a life of luxury from growing up rich, and he continued to live it while he worked as a lawyer. Then he’d had those few horrendous years in retail before he met Ariel, where he had to live within his means. It had been, quite frankly, horrible.
So who can really blame him for his little shopping sprees in the early hours of the morning?
