    Zephyr runs her hands along her dragon's side and finds a rough patch of scales. A fresh new scar marked her body. It was roughly the size of a compass and layed just below the point where her wing met her abdomen.

    None of this made sense. This wound should've been fresh, it couldn't have possibly been more than a day, a couple of days, (at most) since she’d been hit. How in hel had they gotten here? They shouldn’t be here. Darts injury would’ve crippled her, so there's no way she had flown them here herself; and unless Zephyr was missing more memories than she thinks she is, whatever had happened to them had to have happened recently.

    Dart coos softly. Butting her head into her rider's hand, her white nose twitching as she smells Zephyr's newly scarred knuckles.

    “Yea, I’m still wrapping my head around that one too” Zephyr remarks softly.
