Summary
Cassidy Blane is a thief from our world who is thrown into Skyrim after stealing the Amulet of Kings, from a museum. She is such a good thief that in the criminal community and law enforcement circles, she's known as "The Ghost Cat" because of her uncanny ability to get out of ANY situation, no matter how difficult. She doesn't know anything about Skyrim or Tamriel but that doesn't stop her from trying to steal anything that isn't nailed down (I know what you're thinking and NO she will not be in the Thieves Guild). I made the final decision that she is NOT going to be a Dragonborn, I have too much sort of planned for her already. She is also the only of my OCs that, for the most part, travels alone and doesn't stick to JUST Skyrim. She starts out in Solsthiem and goes to Bruma and Hammerfell, unlike my other OCs. She's fun, she's quirky, she's flirty, and she has an adorable Bounty Hunter that's been on her tail since Hammerfell (Rofdir, courtasy of King_Treagodia). I'm sure everyone knows where that leads.
Let's join this thief on a Tamerilic adventure to find out who she is and how to get back home. Assuming she wants to go back.

A handful of women who turned the tables on men in their day, most of whom never met in life, meet somewhere else and talk over their differences.
(I wanted Ester in this conversation, but she wasn't available; when last seen she was at another table, talking with Avigayil and Izevel. Rachav was working the bar, and kindly allowed me to sit and take notes for a little while.)

Summary
For all that it retained some prestige as one of the oldest continually operating bookshops in London, A.Z. Fell & Co had an abysmal reputation among the social circles Lord Peter Wimsey had inveigled himself into following the War - being made up primarily of self-proclaimed intellectuals, artistes, and independently wealthy collectors of incunabula, this was perhaps not entirely surprising. Familiarity breeds contempt, or so Peter had heard.
“Awful atmosphere,” Marjorie had offered over tea - a fine lapsang souchong as it happened - when Peter was last in Bloomsbury. “Felt as if a leak was about to erupt at any moment. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner doesn’t keep a tiger caged up somewhere ready to unleash on any unsuspecting fool who actually attempts to buy something.”

Summary
“What in Oblivion is that?” The voice of the Imperial General rang loud and clear through the walls of the town in question of something Ariadne could not see.
“Sentries, what do you see?”
“Gods, it’s a dragon!”
A bellowing cry came from the clearing clouds which parted to reveal a large, black serpent, winged and sharp-toothed. As the headsman raised his axe, the dragon landed on the guard tower to Ariadne’s left and let out an unintelligible shout.
In the middle of the afternoon, the sky grew midnight black and flaming stones rained from the clouds from which the great beast descended just moments ago. Without haste, Ariadne pushed herself up from the block and stood, finding herself among more dead than alive.
“WHAT ARE YOU? BLIND?” Someone yelled, causing Ariadne to turn her head. “MOVE IT!”A Bosmer assassin sentenced to death is saved by a mysterious woman dressed head-to-toe in armor who seems to know more than she should about the ancient dragon Alduin that attacked Helgen.

“So, you have slain Alduin...Well done. I could have slain him myself, back when I walked the earth, but I chose a different path.” Miraak told you and you held back your urge to roll your eyes at his arrogance.
“Then why didn’t you? I’m not oblivious, I can feel the power you have, the soul of a dovah underneath your skin. You’re powerful, so why?” You asked as he sighed in response as he let go of your face.
“They wanted to use me to deal with Alduin - Hakon and the rest. I chose otherwise. Do you seriously believe that they would let me live if I had done what they wanted? I would become a bigger threat to them than Alduin was.” Miraak explained, you were pretty sure that was his arrogance speaking again, but you could at least understand where he was coming from. He would definitely become a threat in people’s eyes.
“Have you not become dangerous to those around you, Dragonborn?” Miraak asked as you could feel an ever-slight tone of smugness to his words. He wasn’t exactly wrong in that regard.

Summary
During the battle at the summit of Apocrypha, things do not go as the Dragonborn had planned. Instead of defeating Miraak, the Dragonborn is defeated in battle. Miraak tries to absorb the soul of a heavily wounded Dragonborn, but can not complete the feat before Hermaeus Mora intervenes, saving his life. With the power drawn from the Dragonborn, Miraak is able to escape Apocrypha and begin his campaign of conquering Mundus, as he had begun to many millennia ago.
Defeated and near-dead, the Dragonborn is left to the mercy of Hermaeus Mora. It is another decade before he returns to Nirn.
Upon the Dragonborn's reappearance, Miraak does not remain idle, and sends a legion of his newly formed dragon preists to seize the Dragonborn. He is given a choice. Join Miraak, or lose the rest of his soul. No longer a match for his adversary, the Dragonborn bends the knee and joins the dragon priests under Miraak's command.
Now with only half a soul, he bides his time to gather his strength to take back his power from Miraak.

Caroleigh remembered the first time she rode a dragon. The wind had blown her hair behind her, the beating pulse of Odahviing’s wings lulling her into a peace she had never felt before. It was like she belonged in the sky, and her soul longed to fly the skies of Tamriel.
Now she was flying on the back of the serpentine dragon Sahrotaar in Hermaeus Mora’s plane of Oblivion, heading towards the Summit of Apocrypha, and what was no doubt her death.

Summary
Something to fit alongside Et’Ada, Eight Aedra, Eat the Dreamer.
An Elder Scrolls apocrypha text (i.e. fanlore piece) which I'd written in around 2017. The goal was to synthesise a few different Elder Scrolls lore concepts which each were well-accepted individually but which I'd thought hadn't quite been brought together yet within the Elder Scrolls lore community - and also to sneak in a few allusions to a certain outside work (the one involving the "ur" in the form of a golden mask) along the way. The result is an ancient philosophical treatise of one of the peoples in the setting, the Dwemer, which sees one of their earliest recorded scholars looking upon the strangeness of their world and finding affirmation of the ultimate irreality of their world.
The text is presented in the style of one of the lore texts you'd find within an Elder Scrolls gameworld - it's "abridged" to its most key passages and the lengthiest of those passages are summarised rather than "reproduced".
I choose not to use AO3's archive rating system as I don't feel comfortable making blanket judgments about whom my writings are appropriate for, but I believe that no content warnings are applicable to this piece.

Summary
The Last Dragonborn is a Skyrim-raised, two-centuries old Altmer, named Byrdie. She is one who has lived in relative solitude, throughout the wilds of Tamriel, for the majority of her life. She is reserved and humble, though her character has been nothing but questioned since reentering the cold, frigid land of the North Kingdom. Much has changed in the 180 years since she last walked its snow.
A year has passed since the discovery of her soul's true nature, and, as expected, she has earned a controversial reputation across the war-torn land of Skyrim. Some see her as the land's savior; others, as its destruction. If you ask Byrdie, she, through sheer virtue, only tries to do what is best for all, for both Skyrim and for the rest of Tamriel; all the while, a group of her estranged-kin threaten all life on Nirn as the people know it.
However, now, by a whirlwind chain of events, she finds herself thrown away from the world; she has become shipwrecked, on the remote island of Solstheim, being forced to deal with another ancient evil that gnaws at the very roots of its foundation. Does she have enough time to save this land from this imprisoned dragon? Meanwhile, a ravenous shadow continues to soar over Keizaal.Series
