Summary
“It doesn’t matter,” said Dante, shrugging. “This isn’t about you and me, anyhow. It’s about you and the kid. Don’t you think he deserves… something, after all this time?” And then he instantly cringed, thinking about how he himself had barely kept in touch with Nero at all.
“He deserves to be left alone if he wants to be,” said Vergil, quiet but solid.
After Dante and Vergil get back from Hell, they struggle to adjust to normal life, Vergil especially. Meanwhile, Nero struggles to adjust to them. All of them want what they think they can't have. In the end, something's gotta give.
