The bunker Tubbo had built, or the ‘Final Control Room’ as he’d called it, was rather small. Even with just a few of their soldiers there, it felt cramped. There were four chests lining the walls, each labeled with one of their names. Aside from those, the only notable feature was an almost unassuming oak wood button on the ground in the middle of the room.
Tommy wasn’t thinking when he pressed it. He hadn’t even fully registered it when his fingers pressed against the small wooden button. But something compelled him to look up when he did so, even in his unaware state. He locked eyes with Tubbo’s tired yet determined ones, and he knew right then and there that something was wrong. Because, even when out of his mind with grief and fatigue, he knew his best friend. And he could tell from his expression that they shouldn’t have trusted him.
