Summary
Thor knows it is his duty to the realm, to the crown, to his people, to gain them a Queen to stand by his side and have children to one day stand in his place, but that has never been something he has wanted—to be tethered to one single person for life. Sex doesn’t exactly sound pleasant either, (though Loki seems to enjoy it), so he really prefers to skip the entire ordeal if he can.
With Loki alive (though in prison) Thor no longer has mourning as an excuse to delay a marriage. Miraculously, Loki is the one to save him from it, again. (Post-Avengers 1)
