A story BL based story in a world where hybrid humans one day started being born, but instead of being at peace with them ‘normal’ humans drove them to the wild like their animal counterparts, believing that if they kill enough of them they will all die and ‘normal’ humans will be the main people again. The prisoner says something, to which Grian simply rolls his eyes, checks the clock and takes a step forwards, away from the cell so the man can’t reach him again.
Thank the gods his shift was almost over.
A click of the lock and a turn of the knob brings him back to reality. He doesn’t even take the time to speak to or even really look at the substitute before he storms out of the room.or
Grian is guarding two super villains' cells and one seems to be interested in him.

When patrol goes wrong, everyone assumes that Batman was exposed to fear gas. That was the only explanation for his reaction to seeing Jason when he woke up, the only reason why he would turn on the rest of his children with such distrust and anger, as if they were going to attack him and his son. Fear gas had to be why Bruce Wayne suddenly couldn't look Tim in the eyes anymore, and why he lashed out in increasingly violent ways towards him.
But when time passes, and Bruce only seems to get worse, it becomes clear to Tim that whoever was taking up space in Wayne Manor was not his father. Now, it's up to him to uncover the truth behind what happened that day on patrol and just who is masquerading around as Bruce Wayne... that is, if he can survive going up against Batman himself.
