Summary
Marlene made it five steps before she froze in front of a car that had been a few seconds away from running her down. The windows were tinted so Marlene couldn’t see who was inside but they started blaring the horn at her so Marlene slammed her hand down on the hood.
“Touch my car again, I fucking dare you.” A head poked out of a window and Marlene froze for the second time. The voice owner was easily the prettiest girl that Marlene had ever seen. “Are you deaf? Get the fuck out of the way,” the girl snapped.
Marlene shook her head like she could shake away the distraction of pretty girls. “You almost hit me.”
“You’re walking around the parking lot like a headless chicken, you’re lucky I stopped in time."
