Summary
(Set in the year 1965)
During a scuffle with the Scarecrow, Joker is injected with a new strain of Fear Toxin. After ten days they still don’t have an antidote. Running out of time Batman steps in to try and keep his terrified and hallucinating arch nemesis calm and alive, but not only does she not recognize him, she seems to be someone else entirely.
The delirious conversation that follows not only raises questions about who the Joker is, but it also exposes a gruesome crime that might otherwise have been forgotten.
(I made up my own fem Joker origin story and this is how Batman finds out about it.) (first chapter is Joker POV)
