Just the busy sounds from the entertainment districts from miles away, the wind blowing the leaves, the low hums from the electrical units from the apartments.
The district she was in wasn't one of those flashy and over patrolled ones like others. In fact it was the opposite, the tenement districts were always under patrolled and had one of the highest crime rates in the city.
No one ever did anything about it though, and maybe that's why it happened.
