WIP but almost complete. I'll post three chapters upfront and then update weekly.Written in response to a request for backstory, this is a (longer than I intended) account of developing friendship as Aziraphale gradually learns to trust Crowley enough to confide in him. It is a bit more angsty than I usually write with quite a bit of whump (but not graphic whump) and a lot of Crowley being caring (or trying to be, once Aziraphale will let him). Starts in the present day, but mostly set in the past. Happy ending (because it has to have!).
