Summary
“Hey, baby,” Jack cooed, “how are you feeling?” He reached out and pressed the back of his hand to Izzy’s forehead. It was hotter than he would have liked.
Izzy didn’t react for a second and then his hand reached out from under the blanket and grabbed Jack’s wrist, pushing it away. Jack’s brow furrowed.
“I’m bleeding,” Izzy finally said and panic rose in Jack’s throat. On instinct, his eyes searched for any bit of exposed skin which might show cuts or gashes. Izzy’s hand cupping his face brought him back. He felt his moustache get smoothed down, and then, “no, Cal, I’m bleeding.”
