Summary
Thirty year old Liam Payne appears to have the perfect life, a great job, beautiful girlfriend, nice flat, and money in the bank. He started his career in uni when he was just fooling around and being the DJ in small pubs. He was soon noticed by the right people and has since been working at high end London clubs.
Liam never realized to make it in this career, you needed an image and a manager, and you had to sign contracts. He also never realized within months, he would have sold his soul and his whole identity for the career he loved. Soon Liam Payne didn’t recognize himself anymore.
Liam is 3 years sober, in therapy, and just numb enough to keep up the facade and the lies when he meets Zayn Malik. He finds the man so interesting. He also finds him unbelievably attractive. Liam knows from a terrible past experience he is not allowed to feel that way. He must adhere to his contract and protect his image or suffer the repercussions.
Zayn makes Liam feel alive for the first time in years. Liam can see a part of himself returning, the part he’s not been allowed to feel or even consider for so long. He realizes all he has lost and decides to take his life back before he loses Zayn & himself completely.
