Summary
The year is 1980. After the initial defeat of Pennywise, all seven Losers leave Derry. But when Bill and Mike run into each other while both studying at the University of Maine, their reunion brings back their memories of Derry and of the beast underneath it. As they come to suspect that Pennywise is still alive and may return, they move back to their hometown, despite the grim reminders that brings.
Meanwhile in Atlanta, Stan Uris begins to have unsettling dreams. When his daughter likewise dreams of the thing that haunts Derry, he becomes determined to return and protect his family. He makes six phone calls, and the Losers' Club gathers once more.
