Marcel (Marcellus) and his wife were killed four days ago in New Orleans, and an old friend (Genevieve) of Klaus brings his adoptive granddaughter to him. The old friend tells him that Marcellus wanted him to take care of his granddaughter and never to return to New Orleans until she gives him the go-ahead.
