And before he can get too into his own head about it, William throws Damien’s underwear at him and successfully brings him from his thoughts.
"Pulling the union suit from over his eyes, the Mayor can’t help but chuckle as he asks, “Really?”
“You can’t just lay there naked the whole night."
When William finishes putting his shirt on, he leans against the door to watch Damien finish getting dressed. If someone had told him just a year ago that this is the relationship he would have with the Mayor, he’s sure that he would’ve had a mini-crisis. And yet, here he is; he’s in one of the manor’s many guest rooms, alone with Damien, while both of them are still sitting in the afterglow of a long, heated night.
