Summary
Two countries, Two families, rivaling each other since the start of time.
One burns with heat, spiritual powers from his bloodline coursing in his veins, a deep rage boiling inside. The desert-dweller must reach the furthest corner of his land, where growing cold froze the mountains, to perform the ritual to ascend to the throne. The cocky royal falls victim to a hungry saber-tooth tiger, barely managing to escape as his servants fought the beast. It was enemy scouts that found and brought the prince back from the brink of death, only to be taken prisoner and ushered to the King like a prize or pet.
The other runs cold, his heirloom abilities unique to his royal family line, a cold malice brewing. The ‘King’, a puppet of his people, no more than a glorified prisoner within his own stone walls. Struggling to overcome the influence his father’s family had over his reign, the ‘King’ demands to be given rightful control of the kingdom.
He is given a ‘final’ test, to procure the right information for a successful invasion from the foreign prisoner sealed in his personal prison.Will he get Mark to talk?

Yancy has been to prison so he instantly recognizes what has happened. He’s seen it before. The neighbor has been sexually assaulted. He tends to him, learning that his name is Eric. While he consoles him, he calls 911, but because of his own past, he ends up being a suspect and taken into custody while Eric is taken to the hospital.

Though, for a second, Yancy saw it twitch at calling him Dark. Must have been his eyes playing tricks on him; This man seemed nice, but something was off, much like the manor, so Yancy had to be careful. “Anyway, enough about me and.... Dark, you must be Yancy, correct? I’ve heard so much about you.”
The prisoner nodded despite Actor seeming off. “Yes, I am, but if youses could, can youse answer my questions? This place doesn’t look like the pictures Dark se-” He started but stopped when he noticed something behind the red-themed ego. Yancy quickly noticed that the manor had changed. The windows were fixed, the walls had no plants of any sort, the grass mowed evenly, and the door was fixed; All too much like the pictures unlike how it was seconds ago.

There’s a sadness in Yancy’s eyes that he wants to claw out. “Can’t do that, Eth,” he says, soft, apologetic, and it makes the world tilt at all the wrong angles, this twisted sympathy.
“Why not?” he chokes, blinking desperately to try and keep Yancy’s form in focus beyond the stinging in his eyes.

“Holy shit, wow, that exists now?” You marvel, your spoon full of food stopping mid-air.
Michael's smile drops. “Not really. Kinda an adjustment to realize your reality was nothing more than some creative project.”
“Oh,” you say, wincing. Michael awkwardly mixes his coffee, and you take a few more bites, trying not to choke on the silence.
“You know, he never does that,” Michael says.
“Who never does what?” You ask.
“Dark.” Michael fiddles with his rocketship pin. “Murdock and I are the newest guys before you, only been here a couple of years, but I’ve only seen Dark be around all of us when something important is happening or he’s angry. We were all shocked he came to dinner last night.”
“Really? Isn’t he supposed to be your leader?” You ask, a little surprised.
“Not really. He just takes care of us. Makes sure there’s food in the fridge, The Manor behaves for us, and protects us from Mark,” Michael says, stirring his coffee again.
Your head starts to hurt. “Who’s Mark?”
