Summary
What yet remains for those who have accomplished the impossible? When the dust has settled and the patterns of a new life have finally been accepted as normality, what upheaval might prompt the return of exhalted heroes to the fray? Stability makes for a difficult adjustment, but all circumstances can become familiar in time; the true trial begins when that which once was novel has itself become ordinary, thus inviting the return of the once-vanquished chaos that always heralds the introduction of the new. For solutions often create their own problems, and the world cannot remain saved forever; the hardest lesson of all is that no state of being is ever eternal, and even that which is hallowed and sacrosanct must adapt if it hopes to survive...

Huntr/x have accomplished much since the Idol Awards, and the world has been changed dramatically; a new threat now lurks in the shadows, however, and to make matters even more complicated, an orphaned child has inexplicably landed in their laps - perhaps giving them something to fight for, or perhaps creating a new vulnerability for their enemies to exploit.
