Summary
Adam had already been beside himself, if not sourcing one item, sprucing up an existing item until his Demon Empress found it acceptable.
He pressed his claws together, little indentations forming in his palms.
“And, if my wedding isn’t perfect,” Langa continued, "Then, I will simply die.”
“N-No…! Need, my dear,” Adam managed. “Is there anything else?”
“A glass skateboard.”
“… To break?”
“A glass skateboard that doesn’t break and forms an ice road when two people stand on it, forming a charming, whimsical picture.”
Prince Langa raised his eyebrow as if he’d just said the most obvious thing in the world.
Or: Having kidnapped Prince Langa, Demon Emperor Adam must now find a glass skateboard to win the beef that is his true love's heart.

Summary
“You must never show anyone your soulmark, Ainosuke.” Even at the simple, young age of eight, Ainosuke knows Aiichiro is not someone to be trifled with. His father looms over him despite sitting down while Ainosuke is standing, in front of the mahogany desk he carved a heart into when he was five.
“Of course not, Father,” Ainosuke agrees, pretending not to notice the way Aiichiro’s face screws up even in the shadows. He knows that the man doesn’t like it when he addresses him like that; as father. Ainosuke is eight years old and he’s never known a father because he has a businessman instead, one who still gets upset at the fact that Ainosuke can’t speak fluent French yet or perfectly play a note on the piano after hearing it once.
“I mean it, boy,” Aiichiro says sharply, growing more pronounced in Ainosuke’s eyes. He looms and looms and looms. “Not to anyone. Soulmates are for those weak-bellied fools out there who believe in true love.” His father spits it like a curse, but in Ainosuke’s heart of hearts, he leaps with joy at hearing those words.
“The Shindos don’t need soulmates. We are sharks, Ainosuke. Solitary creatures, bloodthirsty and perfect.”

Summary
No amount of cigarette burns on his own skin did the trick of calming down him anymore in particularly bad days, where he wanted to just stay in bed, hiding under the expensive sheets and covers, to not put any mask on, to just lay there and be slowly forgotten, to sleep the days and nights to skip reality and responsibilities he didn't really want, and he would hurt himself to make his mind wonder in a different kind of pain that this horrible and sulking loneliness.
In which Ainosuke Shindo is really depressed and this is his side of the story.
