Summary
It's the end of Jungkook's last day, his last day with his Hyungs, his last day on this Earth. The Hyungs had long accepted the maknae's fate, but that did not stop it from hurting. Definitely didn't stop their hearts from breaking. It was devastating.
No one could do anything about it, not even Jungkook. But, at the very least, Jungkook could promise them his last moments, and that's exactly what he did.
Or
Jeon Jungkook spends his final moments the same way he spent his happiest ones: with his Hyungs.

Being a monster came with a whole slew of pros. Each kind of non-human had a different list, of course. Different species are affected differently. But - something that hadn't come up much in the time that Viago and Anton have gotten to know each other - was the list of cons. Specifically, the cons of werewolf life in the later years. Because the months mutations take a hard tole on the body, and it meant that Anton wasn't going to live forever. Not even close to it.
