Once, he would’ve thought that the blaze would burn him if he kindled it, if he took a chance at letting it blaze. In those times, he would do all that he could to douse it when it sparked, and run miles in the opposite direction to avoid it scolding if he happened to let himself stand too close to his best friend.
He knew better now.
That much was evident by the way he was sat in a tiny booth in a pub in the middle of London– George pressed easily to his side and the air filled with his obnoxiously loud laughter. The room swayed in a drunken haze, and Dream was almost swept away by the way it all felt so surreal. His lips quirked up as he snuck his hand to the other’s thigh, squeezing it under the table.
Dnf travel to London to celebrate George's birthday. They're drunk in love.
