When Vax becomes exposed to the work inside Valentino's studio, it starts to slowly break him inside, to see one of his parents doing something so vile. After the exposure, Vax began to experience graphic nightmares about the workers and what happened to them in the studio, images no fifteen-year-old should witness messing with him almost every day.
After another nightmare, Vax ends up not only confronting one of the workers involved in his nightmare but ends up snapping and taking their life by accident. Scared about what he’s done and being upset at Valentino, as well as the rest of his family, Vax starts to go out more often for two reasons. One, to ask for advice from his longtime friend, Silkston, trying to understand his own abilities as himself and to not defend others who don’t deserve it. And two, to avoid Valentino as much as possible without making it too obvious.
Even though his first kill was an accident out of his control, Vax keeps finding himself meeting up with past workers and actors who supported Valentino’s business, thinking he needed to “grow up” and force himself to learn about everything. And each time, when he snaps, it's less of an accident…and progressively becomes bloodier. -
