One of my favorite fic writers!
Part 1: This part was originally bookmarked on 11/25/19, but when the author added part 2 and made this AU into a series, I finally got around to making a bookmark for the whole series on 01/01/20 instead. Ok so anyway, pigs have always kind of creeped me out, but Pug sounds absolutely friggin' adorable! Not only that, but the rest of this fic's fluff was once again a showcase of how this author is so great with the feels! Any angst that could have happened between Dean and Cas didn't because of how much they love each other. Angst with other characters was not difficult to read about either because of how well it was handled and resolved in the end. Claire and Castiel's relationship is fantastic, the dynamic between Sam & Dean was different (but welcomed because a lot of fics use this strained AU Winchester brotherhood scenario [Dean keeping his abuse a secret while Sam misunderstands] too and don't actually dig into it like this fic did) and there were so many other great SPN characters creatively included as well.
I now really want to go back and visit New York City! And in the meantime find an old bookstore to browse...and some art of Dean/Jensen with different hair colors...
Part 2: The scenery that is described at the beginning of this Part and even throughout the rest is excellently written - it's almost as if I can feel the cold air and see these two walking home with their colorful craft projects myself! Some other holiday celebrations are briefly mentioned, but Christmas is the main focus. There's even so much more tooth-rottingly wonderful fluffy-fluff, ohmygoodness!
