A 1.7k word artistic rendition of the first moment between Moon and Hunter, and a little bit of what comes after. No formal content warnings, but contains Hunter mode spoilers.

I was thinking about the shelters in Rain World and… like. Surely those aren’t actually hibernation chambers. There’s no way because the whole point of Rain World is that the world isn’t built for you (slugcat). This is the culmination of that train of thought.

Summary
A 1.3k piece of Hornet attempting to confront the White Lady about the Vessels. Very rough, might be clunky, don't really care. More of a vibe heavy piece, and also exploring canon personalities (since they're very different from how they are in my AU).

Yusuke had only meant to spend an hour at most at the hospital, partaking in his new "hobby". He hadn't anticipated crossing paths with any familiar faces during that time—as far as he knew, his newly-obtained friends were all in good health. Then, what was Ryuji doing here?
...Perhaps he wanted complimentary snacks for donating blood as well.(Yusuke spends an afternoon with Ryuji, and begins to see him in a new light.)

Summary
Wei Ying is a 9 year old orphan in the streets of some town in ancient China. One day, he hears a terrifying scream and runs to see what’s happening. He finds a child smaller than him lying in a pool of his own blood on the sidewalk. He decides to help that child, as no one seems to care. Wei Ying bandages the child’s gruesome injury on his left hand and takes care of him in the dark alley he lives in, but the child almost dies of infection. Fortunately, he makes it, although his left pinky is gone.
Then a major adventure starts. The kid is 7 years old and his name is Xue Yang, and he has an absolutely terrible personality, even worse than Wei Ying’s. These two boys will now fight for their survival, acquire impressive powers, live a wild love story and defy and break all the taboos of their society.
Absolutely nothing will stop them from becoming ungovernable! -

ie honestly what was Pebbles doing giving slugcat the mark of communication. This is an exploration of how it may have felt on their end.

Summary
An extremely experimental and consequently very short story regarding some of Moon's last moments. Intentionally hard to read, and there'll be more elaboration in the notes. Complement to Casting pebbles toward the sun, spectating their fall.

Of soul, enlightenment, kingdom of wyrm;
In hidden groves, a godly mollusc blooms;
On dawnglow’s reach, where moth brilliance lords firm;
But beware! Deep rooted secrets build tombs.
Keep blades and claws sharp; fear word of the pale.
Or join the victims of this sordid tale.For Hallownest's perpetuation, the kingdom must be dreamless. So the King has decreed, so it must be. Sacrifices will be made.
An end must be found. An end will be found. So it shall be.
Canon is my playpen and I have ripped it up. Lots of exploration of death, grief, loss, and also hope and healing. There is no ultimate good nor no ultimate bad. Fundamentally, Dreamless is a search for identity, belonging, and community, in the midst of great grief.
This fic is Radiance sympathetic, but not positive. Most of the gods are not discussed in any particular high regard. A large portion of what happens is the fault of the Pale King, but it's much more complicated than that. For more information, here is the full AU description.

A sort of continuation of my thoughts on previous pieces. Definitely read the other two pieces in this series first, but this is... very rough, unpolished, mostly to get a vibe across. NSH must have felt some sort of way when they found out about the state Moon was in, and this is kind of an exploration of that? If you've read my other stuff I think you know the drill by now tbh.

You are a little grub whose job it is to deliver mail to the inhabitants around you. This story is a log of the events of your life as you grow and learn about the world.
Tales of Mail Grub is run on Tumblr, at the blog the-adventures-of-mail-grub! I mostly just wanted to cross post this to AO3. Not too sure how this is going to go, but I suppose we'll find out.

[On hiatus! But not abandoned. I'm just too busy.]
Unparalleled Innocence is angry. Angry at Five Pebbles for taking Moon from them. Angry at the world for letting it happen. Angry at themself for not acting sooner.
So now, they're making up for lost time.
An interactive fiction game inspired by (but not based on) my other work, The Innocence of Youth Will Not Save You from the Decline. Reading that first is not required (though I'd appreciate it!), but it does help contextualize a little bit of what's going on. Currently exclusively run on on the official IWSY Discord server. This is a slightly cleaned up mirror of the story that is run live on the official IWSY site.
