The moment he steps through the atmosphere changes, furious power saturating the air, as thick as coagulating blood. Mydei’s blood begins to boil in his veins, and he already knows what it is, even if he doesn’t know exactly who.
What emerges from the swirling portal is not man, but god, radiating divine power from the sunlike brilliance of his eyes to the smoldering tips of his hair, long ragged locks falling to his waist. His face is a mirror of Mydeimos’, but there is something so obviously, dangerously wrong that Mydei and the king instantly move. -

She recounts her days to him, offering updates even if he can’t hear her or even remember her when he wakes. She finds comfort in her one-way conversation with him. And she also finds comfort in Riku. Although he blames Namine for the suffering of his friend, they must work together to achieve the same goal, he realizes that maybe The Witch isn’t so bad.
