This felt like the world tilting in a nice, trippy way. A door cracking open and letting buttery sunlight in.
Reaching forward, Taylor grabbed the champagne and poured herself some. And, yes, it was a fresh bottle, nearly full.
As she straightened, she trained a purposely complicated look at him. “You still broke one of my favorite persons’ heart, though.”
“So there you go, Taylor,” — Conrad nodded and maintained eye contact, his expression not unkind, — “even more common ground.”
It was knowledge that'd been around for at least three full centuries: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Taylor didn't need to be the best at science to remember that much since it resonated so much with what life experience she'd gathered up until now.
Sometimes she wished she could escape the laws of physics. Now was definitely one of those times.
Belly has asked Taylor for a favor, and Taylor is made to face the consequences after her worst streak has led her to go down a ruthless path of action.

So, I wrote a letter to my future self and a poem. The letter to my future self is a piece of writing that I am kind of proud of. The poem is from the perspective of a patient of world-famous psychiatrist Viktor Frankl. This is all based on the book, Man's Search for Meaning, because it was originally for a school project. I poured my heart and soul into this and only got a "this is beautifully done." I was expecting a little more honestly since I put a lot of effort into it, so I want it to be seen by more people.
I put my whole being into this so i want at least one other person to read it.

He's got this effortlessly charming vibe and is known for his kindness and way of making people feel like they belong. After encountering Kumiko several times he asks her to join a quirky summer project he's come up with: making a photo album of their summer adventures that will be documented entirely on Polaroid film and postcards. He challenges her to step out of her comfort zone and show the world what she sees through her lens. In exchange, he offers to do the same, even if it means showing sides of himself he'd rather keep hidden.
