He was finally ready to settle down in the modern day of technology and food delivered right to your door (God bless) and even moreso he thought he was finally ready to move on from Bucky. He'd managed to settle into a comfortable relationship with a tech billionaire and a former pilot, he'd started a schedule of visiting the cemetery and replacing the flowers on graves every Sunday, he'd even started going to church the way old Mr.Crawford used to tell him to.
But after discovering an old Hydra base in Jersey operating out of S.H.I.E.L.D's first headquarters, everything started to unravel.
Now old ghosts were sitting in his living room, history is starting to rewrite itself, and Hydra just keeps getting worse the more Steve learns about the 1980s.

It was a brilliant idea, really. All the other avengers were known by the general public, it made sense for Peter, the only one whose face was a mystery, to be selected for this simple undercover mission. The problem was that Peter didn't know the first thing about undercover missions. That's how he ended up being chaperoned by the two ex-assassins of the team. Goal of the mission : getting compromising info about the Black Widow kept by two Hydra operatives posing as a teacher and the school librarian of Midtown HIgh School.
FIx-it of a sort, Natasha comes back when Steves brings back the Infinity Stones, Steve goes back but not to Peggy (poor guy just want to live in peace in the 50's). The biggest part of the story happens after No Way Home, the Hawkeye and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
