Aether has been dealing with these feelings for a long time, okay? Cut him some slack. It's just that—God, Diluc is so perfect, and Aether wants him so, so bad; but he's not sure if Diluc reciprocates.
In retrospect, he feels a bit silly for that thought.
Diluc's just as down bad, and he's just as amiable to telling the traveler such.
As inevitable as the sun loving the moon is, Aether wonders how inevitable a confession could be. Or, 2.3k words saying that, yes, a confession is rather inevitable—at least when it comes to Diluc.
