Oh, angst, and pining and whump and bamfness, this series is drowning in it. Rodney and John are drawn together so helplessly, and the intense and dangerous situations they find themselves in are a crucible, but John has issues (not-gay), and Rodney has different issues (abandonment, insecurity) and they've got a LOT to overcome. Meanwhile, they keep almost dying, and that makes everything ten times harder....
(Some of it's episodic, which is bad for me, since I've never actually watched the show, but I was able to figure it out well enough.)
