Summary
It's 1959, and Shelby Baker neé Goodkind heads to Reno to finalize her divorce, alone, out of place, and convinced this is just a stop on the way back to her carefully organized life. But the dusty ranch she lands on is loud, chaotic, and full of people who don't care about polite silences. Most unexpected of all is Toni, a carefree sculptor by day and change girl at a casino by night. Shelby isn't looking for anything, especially not a woman, and most certainly not someone like her. But the longer she stays. the harder it is to ignore what's shifting under the surface.
