(Or, the premise of One Sign to Go On, my other fic, but different because modern AU Xue Yang has not had the chance to commit any actual crimes yet.)
UPDATE 12/4/2024: While this fic isn't officially "abandoned" as I hope to add more in future, it will likely not be updated for some time.
The original plan was that Xiao Xingchen finds Xue Yang injured and helps get her to hospital/ultimately takes her home with her rather than let her go homeless. Song Lan isn't sure there's enough room in the apartment for a third person to crash. And then they get used to it.
