Tommy, standing on the opposite rooftop, snorted disdainfully. Heroes were always so fucking pretentious. He was ‘surrounded’ apparently. Yeah, sure. It was only Dolos and his timid sidekick. Granted, they were annoying, and Tommy would really rather not get involved in Dolos if he could avoid the man, but he was easy enough to get away from when it came down to it.
Named aptly after the god of trickery and deception, Dolos’ power was the irritating ability to create illusions. On top of that, the guy had super speed. And he was a bitch.
Really, that was at least 3 strikes.

OR — Y’know those huge inflatable wiggly men? The ones that are much larger than they have any right to be, bend in ways that are simultaneously exactly what you’d expect and you had no idea were even possible, and are weirdly unsettling (yet fun) to watch unfold? But keeping up with three different secret identities and having to infiltrate a cult isn't easy and it doesn't take long for things to go to shit very quickly.

Maestro is a top hero in L’Manberg. He’s well respected and a force to be reckoned with, especially with the rest of his team next to him. “Courteous”, “charismatic”, and “charming” are just a few of the words reporters have used to describe the hero.
Wilbur, well, he was just the asshole who played him.
Don’t get him wrong, Wilbur likes the gig he’s got. But he knows he can do more good for the world, by joining politics and writing legislation, rather then adorning flashy suits and punching criminals. But he can’t just retire from hero work and leave his team down a man and without the only person capable of fighting Dream’s powers of manipulation.
Luckily, the phrase “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain,” might be just the solution he needs.

In the great city of L’manberg, there are two major Villain groups; one being known for its members’ chaotic tendencies while still somehow remaining uncruel, and the other being known for their baseless killings and cold-hearted words laced with nothing short of venom.
The Syndicate, who were often seen wreaking havoc in the depths of the city, or making it their absolute goal to piss off the Heroes, consisted of six members: Heist, Palisade, Apollo, Nemesis, Vortex, and Aletheia.
No one knew whether the group started out as their own individual Villains, or even when they made their debut. But what people do know is that their bonds are indestructible; they cannot be ripped apart from one another by even the Gods themselves.
And then there’s The Crimson. It’s common knowledge that nobody likes them – well, nobody if you don’t count those affiliated with them in any way – and their whole schtick is being as inhumane as humanly (hah!) possible.

Within the world, there were three types of people. Those with an ability, electricity manipulation, fire breathing, shapeshifting, inhuman strength, etc. Those with a physical change to their bodies, bird wings, sheep legs ears and horns, fish tail and scales. And those born with nothing.
Of all the people, those with an ability or power were seen as better, superior, and stronger. Born with a physical change or with nothing you were destined to not have much.
Two nations rose from the beginning. The Golden State (commonly called GoldRise) and The Dark County (also called Darksoul). GoldRise harbored those with inhuman abilities, while Darksoul was a sanctuary for those who had physical changes and nothing.
But our story doesn't take place in the present. We are looking into the past. Before the dictator. Before the war. Before the death, the hate. Before it all
