All Charlie wanted to do was hang out with some old high school buddies and then chill out at home with his roomates, so how the heckin sludge did he end up stuck in a ugly patterned prison with a stern talking dude (who smells like he hasn't had a shower in years), as a guide and a boombox carrying, feral (and annoying at first), kid?!
Or, Charlie Slimecicle is noclipped into the backrooms and ends up partnering with Ranboo and Tommy. They must work together to find a way out or otherwise, die trying.

He could feel the Eye waiting, listening, anticipating. Hopefully, this would fulfill its inherent need for information from this poor, possibly deranged, soul.

With people and strange dragon children milling about, having somehow gotten into a relationship and gained a daughter, Slime is afraid.
What will he do when creatures of the sea start crawling onto the island, being eyes and ears for the court? He has to hide, but he also needs to act like nothing is wrong. Will his relationship with his family be strained? Will they learn the secret he was keeping to protect them? Or will he be pulled under the waves, never feeling the air and sunshine again?
