“A curse.” Wriothesley’s brows furrow. “But that would mean a spell has been cast on you. Who would be powerful enough to do that to the Hydro Dragon Sovereign?”
The little Dragon Sovereign shakes his head. “I do not know, but the Mage who wove this spell upon me knew what they were doing. I just do not know who it is that did this, and as such, I do not want to risk looking for a Mage and finding the one who did this to me. There is no telling what they would do to me in this state to ensure they keep my power to themselves.”
“So you come to me,” Wriothesley says slowly as he catches on, “Because I know Magic and the Melusines trust me.”
“Precisely,” The Hydro Dragon responds.

Summary

Bendy comes into Cuphead's life unexpectedly, discovering that he has a niece and a completely helpless brother-in-law, whom he decides to help and ends up completely replacing his sister in this family that is alien to him.
