It was 4AM, and Tony was going to kill whoever was pounding on his door.
BANG, BANG, BANG.
He stormed through his flat, not bothering to look through the keyhole before he threw open the door. Adam Jones was frowning, his fist raised.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Tony slurred, his accent stronger with sleep and anger.
“Too much to get into right now,” Adam said quickly, flippantly, not interested in the question. “Why didn’t you tell me your dad died?” Tony wanted to kill him, kill himself when he still found Adam’s concerned frown endearing.
