Hawks stopped on his way to his bedroom down the corridor. Beneath Enji's office door, there was a dim orange glow undeniably from his lamp being on. He stepped, pressing his palm against the heavy door, and gently pushed it forward. Hawks peered into the space. He was unaware that his husband had come home from his trip abroad. Enji was sitting at his desk with his legs crossed over each other in a leisurely manner. He was still wearing his black, fitted suit pants, but his white collar shirt was undone, revealing a tiny bit of red hair on his chest. Hawks' face changed to one of mild surprise as his golden eyes briefly met stark piercing blue. Slowly, he went in and thumped the door shut behind him. He spoke after a little period of silence.
"Hey. I didn't know you'd gotten in," Hawks managed in greeting as he took a hesitant step forward.
_Mafia AU Endhawks. Hawks gets married to Enji and it all falls apart. It's time for angst with some sprinklings of kink.
