Summary
She did not have the same curl of hot desire which threaded its way through his own love, but it was open, expansive, generous. Their love was a warm hearth fire on a cold night, a refuge, something to build with. He was not surprised, now, that she had only spoken of their love, and not her own; for her love was an action, a building together of a life. It did not make sense for her to speak of her own love, when for her love was collaborative rather than singular. Solas was beginning to see what she might desire in games of sensation, continually at odds with her physical body and desirous of something she could control, when she felt too much, or perhaps something to create a map to that confusing and shifting landscape that was her body.
Bull rolled onto his back, then rubbed the base of his horn.
“You’ve gotta be shittin’ me, kadan,” he said. “You want to break into the fucking Fade? Not an expert on this Chantry bullshit, but pretty sure the last time some asshole magister tried that, we ended up with the fucking Blight.”Solas and Lavellan are figuring things out in the Fade. Her friends would like to have her back.

Summary
Solas could not do that to her, not when he loved her so, not when his heart was hers and everything that was left of him was fully, completely hers. He would not let her live through what he had lived through, to sacrifice everything for someone else, to kill and betray and become the villain in someone else's story.
He would be the only villain in this story, the only one to blame for all of it. And he knew he was to blame anyway. He had done all of those things with his own two hands. They were tainted with so much blood, so much death, so much wrong.
He couldn't stop. How could he after everything that he had done? How could he stop now after everything that had been sacrificed for this?
(Or: A look into the ending, Solas, the tragedy, and the happiness seeping through, finally.)
