Summary
Stephanie Lauter has been cursed since she was eleven years old. Obedience cursed, specifically. Which is fucked enough up on its own, without even acknowledging the fact that it was absolutely her dad who did the cursing.
It's fine. (Well... no. It's not. But you already knew that.) She's gotten good at loopholes, and work arounds, and dealing with it.
And, after six years of loophole-finding-working-around-dealing-with-it all on her own, the last person she expected to find solidarity with is Peter fucking Spankoffski.(Alternatively titled: Lautski Week day 5- Magic)

Summary
Stephanie Lauter declares her major as late as she can possibly declare it without getting expelled from college. (Actually, later, by a couple of months. But her dad's 'generous donation' of hush money, is called hush money for a reason. So, we're not going to talk about that.)
One of the most un-fucking-expected consequences, it turns out, to only declaring your major by your junior year, is being forced to tech this semester's production of the fucking Nutcracker.

Peter Spankoffski is a local nerd who’s just trying to figure things out. And after a very strange night, he ends up on Steph’s radar.
Steph and Pete just want a nice senior year. But small town social pressures and their respective personal issues put a lot more barriers in their path than either of them could have expected.
