Summary
The kid can’t be more than five —at most— Jason realises as the kid waddles over in shiny loafers and a fur lined jacket. A camera swaying down his chest as he steps over broken bottles and plastic packaging before leaning forward to hover his hand by Robin’s wrist as if to pull him up.
Jason takes the hand carefully, and oh god he’s tiny before gently wrapping his palm around the kid’s wrist and forearm to push himself up with his free arm, careful to not topple him as he puts light pressure on his injured leg.

(Gotham trusted him a little more after that. They liked that the boy wasn’t a yes-man to the good, yet inherently biased bat. They liked that Robin was his own person.
