“What the hell are you doing here?” Tony asks, and he clears his throat. “You’re early, birdie, the place is a wreck, I wasn’t ready—”
“I know, it doesn’t matter, look at this,” Rhodey says. “We have a problem.”
Tony looks at it, a lot like Rhodey looked at it. Then he looks at Rhodey. “Who got you pregnant?”
“Me?” Rhodey nearly yells. “Not me. Oh no. This is yours—”
Tony barks out a laugh. “Surely not mine—”
“I mean this is—this is from your boy,” Rhodey says. “Your little boy, the gangly one, the little giraffe spider one with superpowers that’s sleeping a couple rooms over.”
Tony stares at him.

Summary
When Loki left Earth in chains following the Battle of New York, Tony and the Avengers had thought (hoped, really) that that was the last they'd ever see of the Chaos god.
But Tony Stark wouldn't be Tony Stark if his curiosity and his attempts at doing the Right Thing™ did not end up biting him in the ass.
And now, only seven months after leaving, Loki is very pissed off and back on Earth. Only, this time, with Odin's blessing and the clear demand that Loki should marry a form of Earth Royalty to 'strengthen the alliance between Earth and Asgard' (yeah, right. Tony recognised a time out when he saw one).
Every government in the world puts forward their royals - or the closest things they have to royalty - because of course who wouldn't want the special benefits of having such a powerful alien race as their in laws?
The US does not have royalty.
But they do have Tony Stark.
(He was never doing a Right Thing™ for anyone ever again)

Summary
Loki has spent a thousand years searching for his Soulmate, traveling the skies and jumping through realms looking for the one whose spirit shines bright enough to bring him home.
Tony has had a Soulmark since he was born, and knows his Soulmate is someone not of this world, but after years of heartbreak, after his parents death, after New York and his PTSD and losing Pepper, he has given up on the idea of true love, of a soulmate, and ignores the mark on his arm.
When the Accords tear Tony’s life apart, he runs and leaves everything behind to live alone on the edge of a wild lake, drinking and staring out the window as he watches the seasons pass.
But then Loki lands in his living room, and Tony comes face to face with his Soulmate, and suddenly has to deal with everything he had pushed away for all these years.
Somehow together, they discover love, healing, and find the peace that only comes in the arms of your Soulmate.
And at night Loki sings to Tony, the song of the Sky Traveler and the spirit light that called him home, two Soulmates whose bond was so strong not even death could keep them apart.

Summary
A question at an interview leads to Steve and Bucky discovering fan fiction, and after piles of coffeeshop au's and fake dating tropes (and screaming over ABO fics) they find an author that writes some of the best fics they've ever read-- reader inserts starring a dark haired, dark eyed male reader as their shared love interest.
The platonic fics are heartfelt and sweet, the smutty fics have them tearing their clothes off to act out scenes, the soulmate fics have them crying over the true love that so often ends with the Reader passing away and Stucky being left behind.
Then one day, a fic posts with a scene taken right out of their lives, one that happened right there in the Tower, entirely the same right up until they take the Reader to bed.
Bucky is the one to realize the writer is Tony.
Steve is the one to suggest writing fics of their own to show Tony they return his feelings.
Writing fics to show an author you're in love? What could possibly go wrong?
