It was something that had caught Chamber’s eye the moment he had been allowed to see the spy’s face for the first time, back when their affections for each other had yet to be made official to their colleagues, albeit some knew anyway, and ever since then his fingers always strayed to caresses the spot whenever they got a chance.

“You think they can see us?”
Yoru asks suddenly, and Chamber’s eyes snap open at his words, his breath coming out in little pants. When did he close them in the first place? His gaze travels to the many windows of the building across from them, the sun hitting them just right to make it impossible for Chamber to see through its reflection if anyone was indeed watching them, seeing him in this position. And the thought makes heat rise high into his cheeks all the way to the tips of his ears, flushing his skin prettily.
