Eddie reaches up with one tendril along the side of his face and just… touches him.
“Wow,” he sighs in amazement. “So that’s how it feels like.”
“Like what feels like?” Venom bites back, trying to keep his voice even.
“Touching you. Like, really touching you.” The tendril makes its way down Venom’s – Eddie’s – neck, tracing his collarbone, almost feather-light. “No retreating, no liquefying whenever you feel like it, just… having you there. The way you have me.”
