Annabeth Kline is... weird.
And Steve Harrington really only hung out with her because she helped him in English class senior year. He wouldn't be caught dead otherwise being around a girl who only wore black and leather jackets and ripped tights and long beaded jewelry. In every sense of the phrase, Annabeth was so far from Steve's type of girl, and yet, he can't help but feel intrigued by her. And he can't help but feel like he can't get away from her, either.
Enter her best friend Robin Buckley. A girl who Steve could find beautiful. A girl that was like Annie, but at least... normal. And maybe Steve would have a chance with her. And he'd never have to bother longing after Annabeth Kline, who was anything but the normal girl Steve hoped for. At least, the normal he thought he had hoped for.
