Summary
Izuku's had the national quirkless statistics memorized since he was five, knows each and every name that goes missing, commits suicide, gets murdered. He knows there's a significant chance his name might end up on that list before he hits eighteen.
Katsuki refuses to let any of that happen. He might be too young to change to world on his own, but he'll keep the rest of these fucking extras from laying a hand on Izuku, even if it means threatening his best friend in public to keep everyone else away from them.
In return, Izuku tells him everything.

Eddie can’t seem to look away, can’t bring his ethereal gaze back up where it belongs. Steve thinks he should run, he should flee. A tiny part of him knows Eddie will chase him. Eddie will catch him, outrun him easily.
It's more than a little fucked up how that thrills him.
