Summary
Dazai Osamu’s death is no mystery—his body is found by the river, a bullet wound ending his story. Kunikida is the one who has to face the corpse, and with it, the undeniable truth: Dazai is gone. The Agency’s world shatters as the weight of guilt and regret settles on their shoulders. Each member is left to wonder how they failed him, and what remains after the bullet is only the ache of loss.
Or Dazai’s body is found by the river, shot and lifeless. Kunikida has to see him one last time to confirm what he already knows: Dazai is dead. The Agency is left behind to pick up the pieces and question how they let him slip through their fingers.
