Summary
“I don’t want to hurt you.” His voice was so feeble that she almost couldn't hear him.
“I’m sure you won’t. But what if I want to be hurt a little bit?”
“I don’t know if I want to be Kylo Ren again,” Ben finally admitted.
Kylo Ren is no more. Spurred by Rey through their Force Bond, Ben Solo defects the First Order, seeking shelter with the Resistance. He can remain there on one condition: he’ll wear a Force-dampening collar until he’ll be able to capture the new Supreme Leader, Hux.
After a year, his relationship with Rey begins to suffer from this forced lack of honest and direct communication. Ben is sweet, attentive, and supporting, but Rey still feels there’s something missing. She feels unsatisfied even if she shouldn’t be, and she begins having fantasies she’s ashamed to share with anyone.
One day, someone reminds her that her partner is also Kylo Ren, and this realization opens Rey’s personal Pandora’s Box. She can finally give a name to what she’s craving the most, and now she only needs to make Ben embrace his dual nature...
