Tenna couldn't dream; he remembered things, reliving them in his sleep if he's not shut off all the way. Some memories are more beloved than others; all are given their time in the sun of his recollection all the same, no matter how much he might wish they wouldn't.
Or: I wanted to write snippets of Tenna's time 'living' in the Dreemurr household before the events of Deltarune, and then accidentally attached a plot around that, whoops!
