Summary
He has, for the longest time, secretly considered Hank his mate. He knows that Hank feels some attraction to him, in return. His superior senses have picked up on the subtle signs that betray Hank’s feelings. The racing of his heart when Connor touches him or swims close, or the scent of excitement when he watches Connor lay on the dock. But he’s never acted on it, and Connor has restrained himself in a similar manner, unsure of why Hank holds himself back but unable to bridge that gap for fear of finding out.

Summary
He tries not to think too far ahead, tries not to think of what’s to come. Forces himself to ignore the blood seeping into the cracks between the stained stones. The pain in his palm pulses in time with the slow beat of his heart, but the hunger gnaws at him.
He leans back against the wall, closes his eyes, and tries not to think of the taste of blood on his tongue, sweet and sharp.

Summary
Connor is suddenly very aware that there is no one else outside at the moment. Just the two of them, surrounded by a sea of empty cars. He thinks of the first time Reed touched him in this very parking lot, clicking Connor’s pump regulator out of his chest with ease. A deluge of coolant floods his components.
“So, you wanna go out sometime?” Reed finally says.

Summary
Gavin turns the cellphone in his hands, nearly shoving it into Hank’s face as he leans closer to see, and then his jaw goes slack.
It’s a photo of an android on his back on pale purple sheets. Naked, legs spread. His mouth is open mid-moan, head tilted to the side, looking at the camera from beneath his lashes, but Hank’s eyes catch on the soft fall of dark brown hair across a forehead, the strong jawline and cheekbones, and he recoils.
Fuck, it’s Connor. No, it can’t be.

Summary
“As an advanced prototype, I’m afforded a number of privileges the average android is not. I’m acting under the authority of Lieutenant Anderson. Whether you release me or not, the police will find this place and you will be taken into custody,” Connor says, still writhing beneath Luther’s boot. His preconstruction software offers up multiple ways to temporarily incapacitate the android if he could find some kind of makeshift weapon.
“Oh. So they don’t know where we are yet, though?” Zlatko says with interest. “Which means they’d have to follow your tracker. I could remove it the old fashioned way, but you know what else can be done to disable a tracker? Turn an android deviant.”
